Camp Savio was a great experience. I’ve made new friends that our relationship will live forever! The kids at camp were the most excitement and I enjoyed working with them. The kids learned a lot of new games that will stick with them. Camp Savio is a place where we all come together - knowing no one - and leaving as friends.

My name is Clairemencia, I’m 27 years old. This summer was thus far my best summer in a long time because I experienced something at Camp Savio which reminded me of my childhood . Growing up in Haiti, summer was the only season I looked forward too, and I was so amazed to see these children shared the same feelings as me when I was a kid.

This camp impacted my life in so many ways, one of them is how little they had, even when we didn’t have enough supplies but still showed up ready and prepared to learn and have fun. They were content to be there everyday. Which reminded me of that Bible verse. That experience will mark my life forever and I’m looking forward to attend again by the grace of God.

Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you."
